Now I never really watched that many singing contests, because they're aren't really that many out there. But this year I watched 2 song contests. I watched Eurovision for the first time this year and I reluctantly watched most of season 8 of American Idol. And watching them paid off, because for once I wasn't completely disappointed with the results.
Eurovision:
I was so happy that Norway won! I wanted Norway to win so bad. I would have been so mad if he lost. It's kind of awesome that I watched Eurovision for the first time, and I picked the winner. Most of the people I put in my Eurovision top 10 made it to the finals. I guess I really know how to pick my Eurovison music. And proves even more more how I should be living in England and not the States. Anyway, apparently Alexander Rybak set a Eurovision record for most points ever won. He had 387, which is awesome. :]
American Idol:
Words can't describe how happy I am that Adam didn't win! I seriously felt like dancing after I heard that he lost. It's not like Kris deserved it more than him, because let's be honest Kris can't sing either. I just hate Adam Lambert so much. He can't sing at all. That sad excuse for singing, where all he does is scream doesn't count.
I really hate that every is saying he lost because he's gay. No, he didn't lose because he can't sing or anything. Nope it's cause he's gay. If gay mattered he would have been kicked off a long time ago. Like Danny did and lots of other gay contestants on AI. It's just really annoying.

Song contests didn't disappoint me this year

Love the pasta, devour the bowl!
Recently my family decided to try the Domino's pasta bowls. We were originally going to get Chinese food, but for some reason decided against it. That might have possibly been the best decision ever!
On the commercial they appeared to be the size of a small saucer, so I was a little skeptical as to how good they would be. And if they would actually be enough food for a meal. Since I eat entirely too much. :]
Now I was really excited to eat them when they came in because they smelled amazing. Yeah, I get excited by food. STFU! >_>
Oh the box. Not really interesting, but I wanted to take a picture of it anyway. ._.
The inside. It looked great already!
My mom got Italian Sausage Marinara. I was actually surprised by the size. I was expecting them to be mad tiny, but they were actually the size of my dinner plates. Which is a pretty decent size for $6.
Heather got Chicken Alfredo.
And since I'm such a picky eater I got Macaroni & Cheese. I didn't really want to get mac & cheese, I really wanted chicken alfredo. Cause you can easily messed up mac & cheese, and have it tasting disgusting! But Heather and I split our bowls so it was all good.
Ta-da, my plate! That's not exactly half though. It's harder than you think to cut something perfectly in half.
As for the taste of the pasta bowls, that was another shocker. They were HEAVENLY! They were probably the best take out food I'd ever eaten. And I know my take out. Since most of the food I like to eat is take out or processed in some way. XD
Now here's a review of each kind.
Macaroni & Cheese:
Even though mac & cheese is the cheapest pasta bowl, it turned out to be the best one! The cheese was super cheesy and really creamy. It was seriously amazing. Even the bread itself was the best kind. Since it was mac & cheese, the bread was only lightly seasoned. Which turned out to be perfect and just the right amount.
Chicken Alfredo:
The chicken alfredo was good, but it didn't really even hold a candle to the mac & cheese. The sauce wasn't really extraordinary, it tasted like any alfredo sauce. Don't get me wrong the sauce was good, it just wasn't the best alfredo sauce ever. The chicken itself was probably the best part. It was nice all white meat pieces. They couldn't have given you a bit more chicken though. As for the bread, it was my least favorite of the 3. Because it was chicken alfredo dominos felt the need to put lots of garlic in the bread. I could have done with them using half the amount of garlic. And yet still, it was so overbearingly full of garlic you needed to drink ever 5 seconds.
Italian Sausage Marinara:
Now I didn't really eat this one. I had a little taste from my mom's. But to me thise flavor was really boring. I was literally just pizza sauce and sausage. They could have jazzed it up a bit. The bread was really nice though. It tasted like the mac & cheese bread, but a little different. The main reason pasta bowls are good is because domino's crust is really tasty. If the bread was bad, that would have single handedly ruined the whole thing.
So, yeah. This post might seem a little unnecessarily long, but the pasta bowls were that good. They were incredible. At lot more than you'd expect for 5 or 6 dollars. A lot more than you'd expect from a fast food place. Anyone reading this should definitely get a pasta bowl, like right now! XP
