Song contests didn't disappoint me this year

Now I never really watched that many singing contests, because they're aren't really that many out there. But this year I watched 2 song contests. I watched Eurovision for the first time this year and I reluctantly watched most of season 8 of American Idol. And watching them paid off, because for once I wasn't completely disappointed with the results.

Eurovision:

I was so happy that Norway won! I wanted Norway to win so bad. I would have been so mad if he lost. It's kind of awesome that I watched Eurovision for the first time, and I picked the winner. Most of the people I put in my Eurovision top 10 made it to the finals. I guess I really know how to pick my Eurovison music. And proves even more more how I should be living in England and not the States. Anyway, apparently Alexander Rybak set a Eurovision record for most points ever won. He had 387, which is awesome. :]

American Idol:

Words can't describe how happy I am that Adam didn't win! I seriously felt like dancing after I heard that he lost. It's not like Kris deserved it more than him, because let's be honest Kris can't sing either. I just hate Adam Lambert so much. He can't sing at all. That sad excuse for singing, where all he does is scream doesn't count.
I really hate that every is saying he lost because he's gay. No, he didn't lose because he can't sing or anything. Nope it's cause he's gay. If gay mattered he would have been kicked off a long time ago. Like Danny did and lots of other gay contestants on AI. It's just really annoying.

Love the pasta, devour the bowl!

Recently my family decided to try the Domino's pasta bowls. We were originally going to get Chinese food, but for some reason decided against it. That might have possibly been the best decision ever!

On the commercial they appeared to be the size of a small saucer, so I was a little skeptical as to how good they would be. And if they would actually be enough food for a meal. Since I eat entirely too much. :]

Now I was really excited to eat them when they came in because they smelled amazing. Yeah, I get excited by food. STFU! >_>

Oh the box. Not really interesting, but I wanted to take a picture of it anyway. ._.

The inside. It looked great already!

My mom got Italian Sausage Marinara. I was actually surprised by the size. I was expecting them to be mad tiny, but they were actually the size of my dinner plates. Which is a pretty decent size for $6.

Heather got Chicken Alfredo.

And since I'm such a picky eater I got Macaroni & Cheese. I didn't really want to get mac & cheese, I really wanted chicken alfredo. Cause you can easily messed up mac & cheese, and have it tasting disgusting! But Heather and I split our bowls so it was all good.

Ta-da, my plate! That's not exactly half though. It's harder than you think to cut something perfectly in half.

As for the taste of the pasta bowls, that was another shocker. They were HEAVENLY! They were probably the best take out food I'd ever eaten. And I know my take out. Since most of the food I like to eat is take out or processed in some way. XD

Now here's a review of each kind.

Macaroni & Cheese:
Even though mac & cheese is the cheapest pasta bowl, it turned out to be the best one! The cheese was super cheesy and really creamy. It was seriously amazing. Even the bread itself was the best kind. Since it was mac & cheese, the bread was only lightly seasoned. Which turned out to be perfect and just the right amount.

Chicken Alfredo:
The chicken alfredo was good, but it didn't really even hold a candle to the mac & cheese. The sauce wasn't really extraordinary, it tasted like any alfredo sauce. Don't get me wrong the sauce was good, it just wasn't the best alfredo sauce ever. The chicken itself was probably the best part. It was nice all white meat pieces. They couldn't have given you a bit more chicken though. As for the bread, it was my least favorite of the 3. Because it was chicken alfredo dominos felt the need to put lots of garlic in the bread. I could have done with them using half the amount of garlic. And yet still, it was so overbearingly full of garlic you needed to drink ever 5 seconds.

Italian Sausage Marinara:
Now I didn't really eat this one. I had a little taste from my mom's. But to me thise flavor was really boring. I was literally just pizza sauce and sausage. They could have jazzed it up a bit. The bread was really nice though. It tasted like the mac & cheese bread, but a little different. The main reason pasta bowls are good is because domino's crust is really tasty. If the bread was bad, that would have single handedly ruined the whole thing.

So, yeah. This post might seem a little unnecessarily long, but the pasta bowls were that good. They were incredible. At lot more than you'd expect for 5 or 6 dollars. A lot more than you'd expect from a fast food place. Anyone reading this should definitely get a pasta bowl, like right now! XP

New skirt and an Amy pic spam

I got a new skirt recently and I wanted to take some pictures in it because I think it's really cute. It's black and has ruffles on it. It's pretty snazzy.

So here's the skirt. Not too bad, eh? :P

Even though my whole purpose of taking pictures was to take pictures of my skirt, I totally overlooked that and camwhored it up! And took a few random pictures of myself for fun.

Kissy face.

I look awkward in this picture. :/

I never put enough emotions in my pictures. LOLZ my boobs. X_X

I tried to smile here but ended up laughing a little. XD

Peace!

That angle makes me look fat. O_O

I look good in shades.

I hate showing my teeth when I smile. They're ugly. ._.

Wanna be idol pose.

I accidentally turned the flash on. And it turned out to be the best pic!

I realized I never really post actually pictures of myself on this blog. So there you have it, a pic spam!

Someone just cut my foot off!

Tonight I experienced probably one of the worst pain in my life so far. Curious as to what happened?
So, I was gathering some clothes to do some laundry when I kicked a metal support bar for a bed. It didn't really hurt so I thought nothing of it and got the rest of the clothes and hit my foot again, which also didn't hurt at all. I was going about my business until I dropped something and noticed a few tiny pools of blood around my foot. So I looked down at my toe, and the entire nail was broken right down the middle but still connected to the toe. So I started flipping out. Crying, yelling all that jazz. It was awful. It was even worse puttinng the bandage on.

Here are some pics I took of it.

The back of my foot so you can see just how much I was bleeding.

My actual foot, though you can't see much. This is seriously the clearest picture I could get of it for some reason.

Even my hand was covered in blood!

Yeah I look terrible. But NOBODY looks pretty when they cry. And lolz at my unruly hair. XD

My foot does feel at lot better, but it hurts a lot if I even try to touch it. And walking has become really hard. I can only walk on my heel! :/

Daisy of Love triplets FTW!

Rock of Love reject Daisy De La Hoya has gotten her own dating reality show Daisy of Love. Now I really can't stand Daisy at all. She was in no way the breakout star of Rock of Love, so she shouldn't be the one getting the show. It should be Heather or even Lacy. She's also really ugly and resembles a fish. But that's a whole different topic entirely.

So, her show aired on Sunday, and I of course watching because VH1 reality shows are mildly entertaining. I was amped for her show because she's kind of rocker looking and I was hoping for some hot rocker guys on her show. But of course everyone was disgustingly hideous. The only attractive guys were the guys with the crazy 80's hair. Better know as the Triplets or 84, 85, and 86.

And I was really rooting for them. But the whole we're here for booze and food comment plus the if she loves one she loves all three comment kind of made it obvious they wouldn't last long. So of course they got kicked off first. Which makes me sad, I pretty much have no reason to watch it anymore but I will anyway. Because I have no life.

I was looking up the triplets to find pictures about this post and stumbled upon their band's myspace page. Of course they're in a band, since they obviously weren't there for Daisy.

Their band is called Snake of Eden. Which is an incredibly stupid name. They only have one song and that's pretty much terrible as well. I also find it funny that the whole band is stuck in the 80's. Even their promo shots look like the ones from the 80's.

And apparently the triplets are also going to be in Lady Gaga's new music video, Paparazzi.

I'll actually be looking forward to that cause they're pretty hot. And maybe the song won't be as bad as Poker Face.

Miss USA 2009 and my take on Miss California

Last night the 2009 Miss USA pageant aired. So my family and I did what we do every time a pageant comes on tv, we make a game out of it.

We start off by picking our top 15 girls. Those are the girl we stick with through the whole competition. Then we just wait to see if any of the girls we choose made it to the top 5 or actually win.

Here's my list from last night.

As I wrote the top 15 and top 10, I circled each girl that I had picked from the beginning. I didn't do that bad actually. Six of the girls I picked made it into the top 15.

I did even better at the top 5.

Amazingly 3/5 of my girls were in the top five. Sadly I did not choose the winner this year. My girls came in 5th, 4th, and 3rd place. However my mom and sister both picked the winner North Carolina.

She is really pretty and totally deserved to win.

However I thought California was going to win. Throughout the whole competition she scored the highest out of all the girls and the judges really seemed to like her. But the question segment was her downfall. She received a question for judge Perez Hilton. And I'm sorry but what grounds does he have to judge Miss USA? He doesn't have any, but neither did Kenan Thompson. They really picked stupid judges this year. Anyway, Perez's question was does she think every state should legalize same sex marriage. And she answered in the typical religious , republican answer. "No. marriage should be between a man and a woman." And after she said that Perez's face sank. And with good reason.

That was a terrible answer. I think it's obvious that marriage should be between anyone who wants to get married. Whether it's man and woman, man and man, woman and woman, man and pig or anything they want. There are people out there who have seriously married themselves, and that's fine. It's more socially accepted to be crazy and marry yourself, but god forbid you what to marry another man. It's totally ridiculous! I am tired of religious freaks making it so gay marriage isn't legal. They have no right to turn their religious views into my laws! Didn't we already do that enough with Bush? Ugh her answer just made me so mad. It's people like her why gay people might never be allowed to get married in all 50 states.

Yeah mini rant, but it had to be said. Here's the clip if you want to see her epic fail answer.

Here's Perez's response to his own question.

And I agree 100% with his answer. Miss USA should unite the country not alienate people living in it.

That Dane Cook is a silly bitch

The other day something pretty epic happened. So, I was just sitting on the computer like I do everyday. Then all of a sudden someone's car alarm went off. And I was so amped!

Now if you're not immediately smirking or at least know what I'm talking about you fail. Of course I'm referring to Dane Cook's car alarm joke.

Now what made this even more epic is that it was the same car alarm from the joke. I haven't heard that particular car alarm in about 5 years. Mostly because they have that new upgraded car alarm sound, which is really ugly sounding. So that pretty much made my day. I LOL'D, like a lot.
